The Mere is a flat, tear-drop shaped club, that is normally crafted from pounamu (greenstone) used by Maori as a thrusting & striking weapon in close hand-to-hand combat. Its rounded apex and sides were ground to a sharp edge which narrowed to form a handle.

This Mere is crafted from MDF board, rope and screen printed to add detail.

Size is 220mm in length, perfect for the kids!
